Clothing
Once I receive your inquiry for a photoshoot—whether it’s maternity, family, or portrait—I provide personalized guidance based on the type of session and location. I’ll offer advice on clothing choices and help plan props to ensure we achieve the perfect color coordination. Color harmony is key to creating visually stunning images, and the right wardrobe can elevate your photos to the next level. Thoughtful clothing selection, just like choosing the ideal location, plays a crucial role in setting the tone and style of your photos, ensuring you get the best results.
Location
I typically shoot at nearby locations like parks or along the seacoast, using only natural light. I have a few favorite spots that provide beautiful settings for outdoor portraits. However, I’m also open to capturing moments at your home or your preferred location anywhere in Malta
Time
Home sessions be held at any time and last between 1 and 2 hours (newborn sessions usually running longer). On location sessions generally take place in the morning or late afternoon hours (scheduled around sunset) to ensure the best lighting conditions.
During the session
I strive to offer my clients a stress-free and enjoyable photography experience. My sessions are relaxed, unrushed, and fun, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. I take inspiration from the unique personality of each child or family, as well as the location, wardrobe, and other elements, to craft truly unique and beautiful images. I avoid rigid posing, opting instead for a natural flow to capture authentic moments.
It’s also important to be flexible during sessions, especially with newborns or toddlers who may need breaks for feeding, comforting, or just a little love from mom and dad. This is perfectly normal! For outdoor photoshoots, bringing your child’s favorite snacks or toys can help keep them happy. I also come prepared with props to make the experience more engaging for children and families, ensuring we capture those joyful, genuine moments in every shot.
After the session
Within 3 days after your photoshoot, I will email you a link to your private gallery, where you can view all the images with basic color correction. If you’ve selected a package that includes additional retouching, you can choose your favorite images, and I’ll enhance them for you. The retouching process typically takes about 3 weeks. Once your final gallery is ready, I’ll notify you immediately.
I dedicate significant time to editing each photo using Lightroom and Photoshop, ensuring every image is meticulously processed to perfection. Once complete, you’ll receive a link to your private gallery for viewing and downloading your beautifully edited images.
